This is Willow Pond's text-to-speech O.L.E server application. Type in or load a text file, select the voice you want, and press the play button to hear the PC read your text.

To embed a computer speech message in an O.L.E client document (Write, Word, Excel, etc.), drag the embedding icon (at the right end of the button bar) in to your document. Then, to play it back, double click on the embedded icon.

You can specify a caption, icon, voice, and playback control type for each embedded object.

This is beta code, with final code to ship in February, 1995. Items we plan to change include: additional testing and refinement of O.L.E services, and changes in the way that the user specifies speech characteristics.

Several additional text-to-speech applications are planned. To contact Willow Pond, refer to the information in the About Willow Pond file in the program group.

We are confident that you'll find the speech quality, application quality, and number of voices to be superior to any other O.E.M text-to-speech applications available.
